Summer and fall are the most popular times to get married. According to The Knot’s  2021 Real Weddings Study, 80% of all weddings took place between May to October. To be specific, the most popular wedding months are June (13%), August (13%), and October (22%).

Believe it or not, there's so much more to attending a wedding than dressing up and partying the night away. Traditional wedding guest etiquette and to–dos involve a scope of responsibilities, like submitting a response card by the deadline, and preparing your own gift to congratulate the newlyweds.

💍 RSVP for the events you're attending

Make sure you're aware of which events you've been invited to, like the rehearsal or welcome dinner, and which you and your +1 can attend (they might be different!). Even if you're in the wedding party, send back that card or fill out the survey to help the couple stay organized.

You technically have a year after the wedding to send a gift, but being on top of it will mean picking from the best stuff on the registry.

💍 Drop off dry cleaning 2 weeks before the wedding

If there's a chance you'll need anything altered too, make sure to try it on at home first before you drop it off. Make sure you do this about a month out from the wedding in case there’s a longer turnaround time at the tailor or dry cleaner.

💍  Pick up last-minute travel items depending on the wedding destination

💍 Don't orget to pick up dry cleaning

If you can't make it during working hours M-F, be sure to pick it up on Saturday, as many dry cleaners aren't open on Sundays.

💍 Check the weather & pack necessary travel docs or passports

Double-check if you'll need to throw a coat or an umbrella in your suitcase. Other countries require different vaccinations and COVID tests. Check with your airline before travel.
